Two More Tops Before Summer Fades

Summer is winding down and my thoughts are turning toward fall sewing.  I am not ready to give up summer all together, after all it is still 90+ degrees here in Missouri, but I am ready for sewing something different. I spotted this fabric right when it was added—Mood Fabrics’ Italian Teal and Black Lacy Brocade—and I had to have it. Sequin T-Shirt

I never make t-shirts. Never. My mind is always thinking they are too simple to make. I like complexity and challenge. I’ll just buy them instead, I tell myself. Except, I am finding good quality t-shirts harder and harder to find. These days they all seem to be made from extremely thin material that pills after several washes.
